Kristoffer Green, Vice President of Residential Property Management

Kris Green joined Comstock in 2017 as Senior Vice President of Residential Property Management. Mr. Green is responsible for management of the residential property management functions of the Company. Responsibilities include management of the Company’s residential leasing operations, tenant relations, and facilities management. Additional responsibilities include financial reporting and management analysis, financial analysis, budget preparation, and cost control related to Comstock’s portfolio of client-owned properties.



Mr. Green brings more than 10 years of prior property management industry and the accounting industry experience to Comstock and has a proven track record of management systems development, leasing team management, and focus on providing superior tenant services. Mr. Green has experience managing a wide range of assets including market-rate multifamily residential housing as well as properties subject to Affordable Dwelling Unit financing regulations. Mr. Green is responsible for developing and implementing residential service programs, tenant engagement and retention programs, and maximizing customer satisfaction through exceptional customer service. Mr. Green is also responsible for monitoring market conditions and developing trends in the residential property market, working with Comstock’s design teams on new development properties, and has direct responsibility for maximizing revenue and tenant retention rates while maximizing operational efficiency throughout Comstock’s residential portfolio.



Prior to joining Comstock, Mr. Green held management positions at Avenue5 Residential, a national residential property management company. During his tenure at Avenue5, Mr. Green was responsible for lease-up of luxury high-rise and mixed-use residential properties in the Washington DC market. Additionally, Mr. Green was responsible for business development strategies of the firm in the East Coast market, and lead Avenue5’s training programs for property managers and operations teams across the U.S. Mr. Green began his career in property management in Boston with Fulton Properties from 2006 to 2009. After relocating to the Washington, DC region Mr. Green held various on-site management roles with Greystar from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, Mr. Green held positions at the public accounting firm KPMG from 2013 to 2016, where he focused on multiple advisory and audit client engagements including leading an audit for a cabinet level federal agency, providing due diligence services for advisory clients, and working on audit engagements of multiple fortune 500 companies.



Mr. Green graduated with a BS in Accounting & Information Systems from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland in 2012. In 2019 Mr. Green was selected as a member of the Emerging Leader Council of the Apartment and Office Building Association of Metropolitan Washington (“AOBA”) and is active on the Government Affairs Committee of AOBA. Mr. Green is an actively licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
